When and where does The International Tax Week take place?

The International Tax Week 2025 will take place from 17 to 21 November 2025 and will be hosted by Artevelde University of Applied Sciences at the Vayamundo Hotel in Ostend, Belgium.

Who can participate?

The International Tax Week is open to students from the partner universities across Europe, along with lecturers and invited professionals.

What is the working language?

The official working language for The International Tax Week is English. Teams may include students with varying levels of fluency, so collaboration and support are encouraged.

How are teams organised?

Students are divided into teams of six, each containing participants from different universities and countries. Tutors are assigned to guide team dynamics and collaboration.

What is the focus of this year’s The International Tax Week?

The 2025 edition focuses on transfer pricing. Students will work on realistic business cases, attend lectures, and participate in workshops and negotiation scenarios.

What do participants need to prepare?

All participants will receive a student manual with detailed instructions, rules, and case information. You don’t need to bring it, but make sure you’ve read it beforehand and bring any personal essentials (laptop, notebook, pens) to fully participate in (guest) lectures and case sessions.

Are there prizes or awards?

Yes, the Intercultural Communication Cup (IC Cup) and the Transfer Pricing Cup (TP Cup), in memory of Markus Oblau, are awarded to teams based on performance.
